I understand the difference between weather and climate but like to point out record cold snowstorms because the opposite is often used to motivate the agenda of global warming enthusiasts.   You see, a hurricane or heat wave are apparently evidence of global warming but record cold and snow are meaningless aberrations.
One of the consequences of [...]

Global warming …. from AccuWeather:  So far, citrus-growers in Florida have gotten by with only light damage following several nights of sub-freezing temperatures over the past week. Cold into this morning will likely prove more destructive as temperatures drop to the lowest levels in over 20 years.

Despite "global warming" and an increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide, some UN Scientists are now asserting a likely cooling trend.  Here's the story:

The bitter winter afflicting much of the Northern Hemisphere is only the start of a global trend towards cooler weather that is likely to last for 20 or 30 years, say some of [...]

If the the models can't forecast a few months how can we expect accuracy 20-years out?  Check this out:

Exactly the same computer models that are used to forecast that we will fry by the year 2030, 2050 or even 2080, are also those used to produce the shorter-range forecasts. It was these models, back in [...]

The U.S. East Coast faces the coldest night of the season as frigid air spills south and threatens agriculture in Georgia, Alabama and the orange crop in Florida.
Freeze warnings were posted by the National Weather Service as far south as the Orlando area, which may be as many as 20 degrees below normal [...]

More global warming:

Even residents in the Dallas-Fort Worth area briefly experienced a white Christmas, their first in more than 80 years. Not since Dec. 25, 1926 — when 6 inches fell on Dallas and Collin counties — had the area had a true postcard-looking Christmas.
But by late afternoon, the 3 inches of snow measured at [...]
