Four Greenpeace activists won't home for Christmas.

On thing to note about the Associated Press article concerning the illegal Greenpeace protest is that it a single source, Kumi Naidoo, the executive director of Greenpeace.  I understand that this report is based on an interview but I would expected at least some collaboration of the facts considering that Naidoo explains that publicity is the organization key strategy.  Instead, the AP reported an event based entirely on the word of the activist organization that orchestrated it.  Check it out:

first paragraph: "the head of the international environmental group said Thursday"

second paragraph: "Kumi Naidoo, Greenpeace's executive director, spoke in an Associated Press interview"

fourth paragraph:  "Naidoo said"

fifth paragraph: "he said"

sixth paragraph: "He said citizens and groups like his …Already, he said, too much time has been lost."

seventh paragraph:  "he said"

eigth paragraph: "But he said Copenhagen did produce …  The Copenhagen meeting, he said"

ninth paragraph:  "Naidoo said."

tenth paragraph:  "Naidoo said a Greenpeace climate-change team"

twelth paragraph:  "Naidoo said it was a Greenpeace tradition"

thirteenth paragraph:  "But, he said, Danish authorities appeared to be taking a hard line"

fifteenth paragraph:  "Naidoo said"

sixteenth paragraph:  "Naidoo said"

The conclusion:

''To deny folks bail to be home with their families over Christmas and New Year's … seems unnecessarily inhumane and cruel behavior on the part of the Danish authorities,'' Naidoo said, adding he would return to Copenhagen for the January hearing.

So the Danes are heartless and cruel?  Perhaps the Danes would like to comment?  Instead we have a feeble attempt to obtain a second source:

Danish police did not return calls seeking comment on the case Thursday.

Wow, no other sources in an eighteen paragraph article other than common knowledge and Greenpeace!
